About the Seminar Leaders

Steve Pulver is a Professor at York's Schulich School of Business. He earned his BA at the University of Toronto, and his MBA at Schulich School of Business. He has been an entrepreneur for more than 30 years, and has started and sold a number of businesses. He is currently looking for investment opportunities and teaching marketing and entrepreneurship at Schulich.

Andrew Barr
is an Exercise Physiologist and Strength and Conditioning Coach with over 10 years’ experience working in high performance, chronic disease management, and community settings. Andrew graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and from York University with a Master of Fitness Science. He runs his own business, Barr Health and Fitness, and has built a full clientele through both marketing and strategic partnerships, and hopes to share the tools that have worked for him with other trainers looking to grow their practices. He specializes in strength training for older adults, return to sport after injury, and strength and conditioning for basketball players, including Canada Basketball athletes. He previously worked as the Lifestyle Coach and General Manager at DeerFields Clinic in Toronto and as the Strength and Conditioning coach for the varsity basketball teams at McGill University and Champlain College.

General Information 

Cancellations are subject to a $15 administration fee.  Cancellation requests will be accepted in writing until 7 days prior to the event.  No refunds are available following the cut-off.

Parking is available on site.  

Morning sign-in
 opens at 7:45am.  

Food is not allowed in the auditorium. Snacks will be available in the foyer.
